A rustic, handmade fireplace mantel slipcover creates a rustic ambience to the most attractive feature in your room. They are a unique fireplace hack, and I will make it right, so measure twice, place your order, and prepare for a fireplace facelift.

Installation is easy as I pre-drill pilot holes so you can easily fasten your new rustic barnyard decor. So clean off your existing surface, grab your drill (or screwdriver), screw it in, then decorate with your favourite shelf decor.

Specifics:

• Wood Used: Ethically sourced pine
• Stain: Two coats of Minwax stain of your selected colour.
• Finish: Three coats of low gloss polyurethane. 
• Fastening: Wood screws and wood-specific glues are used.

Please note that this is a natural wood product. Colour and texture will vary from board to board. Fireplace mantel slipcovers may be subject to a quarter-inch variance.

Your handmade fireplace mantel cover will arrive hand-distressed. In the notes section, you may request that the boards go undistressed, or conversely, heavily distressed. If this is a gift, please include any text you would like to include in a hand-written notecard. We also provide a certificate of authenticity signed and dated by Sydney Smith.
